Misc.
I had the joy of preaching at Westside Christian Church in Coffeyville, Kansas when we went and saw Courtney's family this summer. I'm always honored to be able to serve in that way. We love Westside and we're so grateful for the impact they have!
University of Nebraska Omaha (CSF_Omaha)
While campus has been quiet, we've been charting new territory with our ministry residency. On July 1st we onboarded Justin Ludwig and Sara Ryerson. They've been incredible blessings to the ministry and we're so excited to see how they learn and grow over these next two years.
I've been working diligently to help these two have a fantastic start to their program. It's not been easy and I'm learning a ton, but it's a joy to be entrusted these years of ministry training. Please pray for Justin and Sara as they start their first semester as residents with us!
Iowa Western Community College (CSF_CB)
I had a lofty goal this summer to prayer walk all of campus before school started (school started today btw) and I got pretty close! Each week I was able I prayer walked a different building on campus, met the faculty and staff in it, and discovered a lot of fun surprises along the way. It was humbling to encounter God on campus. He is wanting to move, we just need to step into it!
~~Personal Update:
We bought a house!
Since April, we had been having conversations about buying a house just down the road of where we used to live. The sellers were absolutely amazing and helped us close on June 12th! We spent the next 3 weeks tearing out carpet, painting, and accidentally redoing the entire bathroom. We still need to hang some stuff on the walls and I've got a long list of projects, but it's home and we thank God for it!
